We are seeking a highly skilled
Onsite Technology Support Specialist I
to join our onsite IT support team in Honolulu. This part-time contractor will play a critical role in supporting day-to-day technology operations, providing hands‑on technical support, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences for end users, VIPs, and client teams. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and experienced in AV and end‑user support within a corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support and configure
Microsoft Surface Hubs , including audio, video, display, and network settings.
Manage and resolve issues for
Microsoft Teams Rooms , including touch panel UI, meeting controls, and connectivity.
Support additional AV technologies such as
Condeco, Barco ClickShare, Pano, Polycom, Cisco , and other meeting‑room equipment.
Technical Support
Provide onsite and remote support for Windows, macOS, PCs, mobile devices, applications, and network connectivity issues.
Manage and prioritize
ServiceNow
tickets while meeting SLAs.
Support Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Office 365).
Handle
asset management
including receiving, shipping, tracking, and hardware lifecycle tasks.
Printer installation, configuration, relocation, and troubleshooting.
Provide support for meetings, events, and conference room technology.
Deliver
remote hands
support for network teams (checking ports, tracing cables, device rebooting).
Provide
VIP/White Glove support
as needed.
Occasional travel and after‑hours support may be required.
Required Skills & Experience
2+ years
of onsite technical support experience or a degree in a related field.
Strong
AV support experience
(Surface Hubs, Teams Rooms, Crestron).
Solid troubleshooting skills across Windows, macOS, and hardware.
Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
