Plan and execute activities across physical, social, recreational, intellectual, creative, entertainment, and special resident requests. Lead and conduct activities, adapting to residents’ lifestyle choices. Invite, remind, and chaperone residents to participate in planned activities, including transportation via Bickford vehicle when necessary. Develop and maintain a monthly activity calendar that offers 7‑day programming, including evening and weekend options. Coordinate decorations for special events, seasons, and holidays. Coordinate food needs with the kitchen for scheduled activities. Operate the activity program within branch budget guidelines. Train, support, and instruct other team members to conduct activities. Qualifications
High‑school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in recreation or related health field preferred. Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist or Activity Director Certification required. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making ability. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record per Bickford’s insurance guidelines. Benefits
