Director of Recruiting – Hardscape and Masonry Products Overview:
A leading concrete products manufacturer is seeking an experienced Regional Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations across four production facilities. This role requires a hands‑on leader with strong technical expertise, excellent electrical and PLC troubleshooting skills, and the ability to drive reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all maintenance functions across four regional concrete manufacturing plants, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable equipment performance.
Provide hands‑on technical support and guidance to plant maintenance teams, with emphasis on electrical, PLC, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
Lead, coach, and develop maintenance teams to enhance skill sets, improve response times, and ensure consistent execution of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Collaborate with Plant Managers, Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams to support production goals and minimize downtime.
Partner on continuous improvement initiatives, including root‑cause analysis, optimization of maintenance workflows, and implementation of best practices.
Participate in planning and execution of capital expenditure (CapEx) projects, including scope development, vendor coordination, installation, and commissioning.
Ensure facilities maintain compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and maintenance documentation practices.
Manage regional maintenance budgets, parts inventory, outside vendors, and service contractors.
Provide expertise in big board paver equipment (preferred) and other industry‑specific machinery used in concrete products manufacturing.
Develop and monitor KPIs to track reliability, uptime, maintenance effectiveness, and overall plant performance.
Qualifications:
5+ years of maintenance management experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment; experience in the concrete products industry strongly preferred.
Strong, hands‑on electrical and PLC troubleshooting skills are required.
Experience with big board paver equipment and concrete manufacturing machinery is preferred.
Technical degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise and mentor maintenance teams across multiple sites.
Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs, CMMS systems, and reliability‑focused maintenance strategies.
Excellent problem‑solving skills, project management abilities, and communication skills.
Ability to travel regularly to regional plants.
