Summary Description Under direction of the school principal, plans and provides appropriate learning experiences for students. Provides an atmosphere and environment conducive to the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of individuals to ensure Success for Every Student. Supervises students in a variety of school‑related settings. Monitors and evaluates student outcomes. Communicates and interacts with students, parents, staff, and community. Develops, selects, and modifies instructional plans and materials to meet the needs of all students. Maintains appropriate records and follows required procedures and practices. Monitors appropriate use and care of equipment, materials and facilities.
Physical Demands: As required by the duties and responsibilities of the job. Special Requirements: Required to attend school meetings, programs and activities outside the instructional day as mandated by the MCEA agreement.
Job Specific Information The academic support position will include targeted instruction in reading and math through small groups. This educator will work closely with classroom teachers and instructional leadership to strengthen core instruction, accelerate student growth, and support students who need additional time and practice to meet grade level expectations. The wage range for this position is a salary between $64,591 and $131,472 based on education and experience.
