Business Development Representative – Technology & Cybersecurity Services
We are seeking a motivated and driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has strong sales instincts, an interest in technology, and experience or enthusiasm for IT and cybersecurity solutions. In this role, you will identify, engage, and qualify new business opportunities across a wide range of industries.
Working closely with our Account Executive team, you will play a key role in building a healthy pipeline of new business. Success in this position requires resilience, discipline, curiosity, and a willingness to be coached. For high performers, this role offers a defined path for advancement into the Account Executive team and beyond.

Core Responsibilities
Prospecting & Research
Conduct market research to identify potential clients and target accounts.
Build and refine account lists using intelligence signals, intent data, firmographics, and technical indicators.
Execute high-volume, multi-touch outreach sequences via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
Initiate conversations with prospects to uncover business needs and qualify opportunities.
Client Interaction
Schedule and conduct introductory meetings and presentations to communicate our IT and cybersecurity solutions.
Listen to client challenges and collaborate with internal teams to align Acrisure’s offerings with their needs.
Partner with marketing and technical teams to develop sales materials, proposals, and customized solutions.
Share market insights and feedback with leadership to support continuous improvement.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospect interactions and pipeline progress within the CRM.
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified meetings and opportunity generation.
Industry Engagement
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging cybersecurity threats, and the competitive landscape.
Represent Acrisure Cyber Services at conferences, trade shows, and networking events as needed.
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred.
Minimum 2 years of business development or sales experience in IT, cybersecurity, or technology solutions.
Solid grasp of today’s technology services, cybersecurity solutions, and the ever-changing threat landscape.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Proven ability to connect with and influence decision-makers at all levels of organizations.
Self-starter with a bold, goal-driven mindset ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Skilled in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willing and able to travel for exciting client meetings and industry events.
Pay Range: $65,000 USD - $72,500 USD
