Job Summary As a Clinical Deployment Consultant you will maintain customer relationships in assigned accounts, deliver high‑level customer service, and support the BD Sales Process. You will serve as an IV therapy clinical expert, plan BD Infusion product implementations, and provide education to facilities during the entire implementation cycle. You will lead presentations, provide assessments, and convey the clinical value of BD solutions.

Overall Responsibilities

Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of relevant clinical operations, products, services, and competitive products.

Provide clinical leadership to BD customers in the implementation of interoperability and connectivity products.

Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure timely and productive implementations.

Facilitate collaboration with hospital clinicians and EMR vendors to support clinical workflows and develop policies and procedures.

Review and promote customer awareness of common HL7 error codes.

Escalate issues to clinical and technical SMEs when appropriate.

Follow up with customers per department guidelines to assess system performance, satisfaction, and problem resolution.

Develop recommendations to ensure customers realize full benefit of implemented solutions.

Function effectively in a highly regulated industry.

Skills, Duties, and Tasks

Facilitate conference calls and customer meetings for BD Infusion product implementations.

Establish rapport for long‑term business relationships.

Provide team support and product information on Infusion products as assigned by manager.

Mentor team members to ensure product and process competency.

Lead customer teams, negotiate, gain consensus, and deliver concise communication.

Guide review of customer site assessment and project design for Infusion product implementations.

Provide feedback to Business Operations and Field Trainers for continuous improvement.

Technical Expertise

Demonstrate knowledge of clinical workflow processes.

Interact and guide cross‑functional teams.

Understand Infusion product implementation methodologies and industry standards.

Coordinate complex projects with precision and detail orientation.

Apply critical thinking to improve current business practices and standardize across hospital systems.

Troubleshoot and consult on clinical workflow and best practices.

Install and support BD Infusion hardware and software solutions.

Influence customer acceptance and utilization of BD Infusion products and services.

Act as a customer support resource when needed.

Qualifications

Active Nursing degree.

4–6 years of experience in a related field or equivalent education and experience.

Valid driver’s license; minimum age 21.

Home‑based position with 75–100% travel; overnight travel may be required.

Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs and perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, stooping, bending, and lifting.

Preferred Qualifications

Acute care hospital experience, preferably with nursing informatics or leadership; pediatric, NICU, and oncology experience highly desired.

Specific knowledge of BD business is a plus.

Upon hire, provide proof of required immunizations, including Hepatitis B, Influenza, MMR, Varicella, TB/PPD, Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis, and Covid‑19.

Meet vendor credential requirements for assigned customer sites.

Additional Information For most roles, a minimum of 4 days of in‑office presence per week is required. Remote or field‑based positions may have different arrangements. Certain roles may require proof of full COVID‑19 vaccination or testing.

Salary Range $87,500.00 – $144,400.00 USD annual.
