We are looking for an Entry-Level Instrumentation and Controls Engineer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. You will work on state‑of‑the‑art industrial and commercial facilities, be accountable for schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks, provide on‑site assistance during startup, and coordinate work activities with other staff and discipline leads.
As part of a collaborative, multi‑disciplinary team, you will help design and optimize control systems for a variety of processes, working closely with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver complete, world‑class solutions for new facilities. Responsibilities include developing P&IDs, sizing valves, specifying instrumentation, documenting and modeling design information, and ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.
Your multi‑discipline, highly interactive team will produce control system designs for a variety of processes, develop options and optimizations for all aspects of the process control, instrumentation, and automation, and provide expert mentorship opportunities to help you thrive in your new career.
Here’s what you’ll need
Associate’s or Engineering Tech degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering
Ideally, you’ll also have
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering
Working knowledge of Revit software preferred
Engineer in Training (EIT)
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi‑disciplinary teams
Passion for buildings and construction
Prior experience with DDC and PLC based control systems
Experience with Data Center design or operations

The base salary range for this position is $58,656.00 to $80,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
