Audit Senior
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will lead audit engagements for our diverse portfolio of clients, focusing primarily on nonprofit organizations and employee benefit plans. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality audit services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Lead audit engagements from planning through completion, including the supervision and development of staff
Perform detailed audit procedures, including testing of internal controls and substantive testing
Prepare and review audit work papers and financial statements
Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and management
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of audit and accounting standards, as well as nonprofit and employee benefit plan regulations
Develop and maintain client relationships to foster new business opportunities
Coordinate with other professionals in the firm to deliver a seamless client experience
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
Minimum of 3 years of audit experience, with a focus on nonprofit organizations and employee benefit plans
Strong understanding of GAAP and auditing standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
