Salary: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00.
Position Overview The Tax Manager will oversee and manage the tax compliance and planning functions for our clients. This role is critical in ensuring that all tax returns are prepared accurately and in a timely manner, while also providing strategic tax planning advice to minimize tax liabilities and enhance financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and review the preparation of various tax returns including 1040, 1041, 1120, and 1120S forms.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients.
Identify and implement tax‑saving opportunities for clients.
Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing training and support as needed.
Communicate effectively with clients to address their tax‑related inquiries and concerns.
Stay updated on the latest tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and optimal tax strategies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA certification is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong knowledge of tax compliance and planning for individuals and corporations.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
