Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will oversee tax compliance and planning for our clients, ensuring compliance with federal and state tax regulations while providing expert guidance on tax-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and review client tax returns including 1120S, 1040, 1041, and 1120 to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals in a public accounting environment.
Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings.
Stay updated on current tax legislation and its implications for clients.
Assist in IRS audits and respond to notices on behalf of clients.
Prepare and present tax strategies and recommendations to clients and management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
CPA certification required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax services.
Proficient in preparing and reviewing corporate and individual tax returns.
Strong knowledge of tax compliance and regulations, particularly related to 1120S, 1040, 1041, and 1120.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
