Trading Manager
Amrize Trading is the trading arm of Amrize, North America’s leading building solutions company. The Trading Manager is a key commercial position responsible for end‑to‑end management of sales and/or purchase contracts within defined product lines.
What You’ll Accomplish
Negotiation and execution of sales and/or purchase contracts across the defined product lines.
Interfacing with support resources such as Operations, Chartering, Legal, Finance, Strategy & Development.
Helping respective import/export entities in the implementation of their own strategy and optimization of their footprint when related to international seaborne flows.
Managing the existing portfolio of customers and suppliers, and prospecting new customers/suppliers.
Managing, within his/her delegation of authority, trading risks in his/her geography.
Complying with internal rules, processes, regulations, standards, etc. to make sure a good execution is achieved together with the other internal functions.
Providing Business Intelligence.
Demonstrating a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
What We’re Looking For
Education:
Bachelor’s degree
Required Work Experience:
7 years of experience in trading or comparable commercial activities
Required Technical Skills:
Knowledge of the building materials industry
Knowledge of shipping (dry bulk or containerized)
Knowledge of commodity trading
Microsoft Office Suite & Salesforce
Travel Requirements 50%
Additional Requirements

Agility to cope with diversity (cultural, lingual)
Politically savvy and diplomacy
Languages:
Excellent English, written and spoken
Mastery of at least 1 additional internationally representative language (e.g., Spanish, French, Arabic, etc.)
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
