Project Engineer
to join its growing team. The company is actively expanding its Water/ Wastewater Division and has secured an extensive project backlog, offering a stable pipeline of work and long‑term career potential. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional to grow alongside a well‑established and expanding organization.
The firm specializes in infrastructure projects including water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, water and sewer lines, and related utility work. The Project Engineer will be based primarily in Connecticut, with minimal travel required.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning and coordinating project activities, including scheduling, material procurement, and subcontractor management.
Support project managers in monitoring budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
Prepare and review technical documentation, drawings, and specifications in collaboration with engineers and clients.
Track project progress and maintain accurate records for reporting and compliance.
Contribute to problem‑solving and technical solutions during construction phases.
Participate in project closeout processes and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
A few years of experience preferred; mechanical background is ideal (field experience a plus but not required).
Skilled in scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, requisitions, ROIs, safety, and closeout.
Familiarity with water/wastewater systems, pump stations, and utility construction.
AutoCAD experience preferred, but training can be provided for motivated candidates.
Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
