Senior Construction Project Manager – Specialized Facilities
Minnetonka, MN | Direct Hire | $110k–$130k
Konik is partnered with a fast-growing commercial builder adding an experienced Senior Project Manager to their leadership team. This high-accountability role oversees large, complex, multi-phase specialized facility projects from preconstruction through closeout. You’ll own contracts, budgets, schedules, financial performance, and overall delivery—while acting as the primary client-facing leader throughout the project lifecycle.
This is an opportunity for a seasoned SPM who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and is passionate about elevating project delivery standards. You’ll work cross-functionally with estimating, design, field operations, site improvement, and finance while also mentoring PMs and shaping best practices across the department.

Senior Project Manager Highlights

Senior Project Manager Responsibilities
Oversee full project lifecycle including design, entitlements, permitting, procurement, construction, and closeout.
Manage budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals, permits, invoices, contracts, and subcontractor performance to ensure alignment with scope and expectations.
Coordinate internal teams and external consultants to finalize construction documents, structural packages, and engineering deliverables.
Act as the primary client-facing leader, driving communication, resolving issues, managing risk, and maintaining strong relationships.
Mentor PMs/Jr. PMs, refine SOPs and workflows, lead internal meetings, and support continuous improvement of project delivery systems.
Senior Project Manager Qualifications
8+ years of construction project management experience, including oversight of $20M+ projects
Strong negotiation skills and confidence in client-facing communication
Proven ability to manage complex schedules, budgets, and multi-phase scopes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Smartsheet, and Bluebeam
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or related field
Leadership experience mentoring and developing project teams
Valid driver’s license; 10% travel required
