Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end procurement process for raw materials, components, and MRO supplies. Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to secure high-quality, cost-effective materials. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable agreements. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders. Implement inventory optimization strategies to support production schedules and minimize stockouts. Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and supply chain risks to inform purchasing decisions. Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements for all purchased goods.
Recommended Qualifications 5+ years of progressive purchasing or supply chain management experience in a manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor negotiation, and contract management. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced data analysis tools. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory management, and quality assurance principles. Proven leadership abilities with experience managing a purchasing team.
Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma certification or similar continuous improvement methodology experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or demonstrated experience leading complex procurement projects. Experience with international sourcing, logistics, and navigating global trade regulations. Advanced proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) beyond basic user functionality. Fluency in a second language relevant to key international supplier regions.
