TOTEME is looking foran Assistant Store Manager to join our New York Madison Avenue store on a full-time basis.In this role, you will support the Store Manager in leading the team, driving sales, and delivering an elevated client experience. As a brand ambassador, you will help cultivate a welcoming and inspiring in-store environment while building lasting client relationships. You will report directly to the Store Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage store operations, ensure efficient workflows, and staff scheduling.
Drive sales performance and monitor progress to consistently meet or exceed targets.
Provide daily coaching and support to Sales Advisors, ensuring high team performance and consistent service excellence.
Guide the team on brand knowledge, collections, store experience, and operational procedures.
Support the planning and execution of in-store events and activations in collaboration with the Store Manager.
Lead by example in developing strong client relationships and fostering a culture of genuine clienteling.
Ensure visual merchandising standards are met and coach the team on day‑to‑day execution.
Conduct regular team briefings to align on business priorities, company policies, and new collections.
Share product insights and qualitative feedback with internal teams, based on client needs and local trends.
Participate in and contribute to TOTEME’s social and environmental sustainability strategy.
YOUR PROFILE
Minimum of three years of experience in a senior retail role, preferably within the luxury fashion sector.
Experience in leading and coaching a high‑performing team.
Solid understanding of store workflows, budgeting, and performance analysis.
Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
