Boeing Commercial Airplanes is hiring a Mid‑Level or Experienced Composites Planner to support the implementation and sustainment of new and existing build plans that significantly impact the quality and cost performance of the program.

This role requires adapting to a dynamic team with critical deliverables and urgent factory support while collaborating and thinking “outside the box.”

Primary Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations to define as‑built configuration.

Develop manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.

Integrate suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.

Review and approve supplier data to ensure manufacturing‑related requirements are met.

Develop tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering specifications.

Manage tools from initial design to end‑of‑use disposition.

Investigate and resolve manufacturing‑related issues.

Perform producibility assessments for part or product designs.

Provide producibility input to design, manufacturing processes, and technologies to meet cost and schedules.

Develop integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments.

Draft, update, and review processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements.

Basic Qualifications (Required)

3+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Familiarity with systems & test commodities and/or manufacturing processes.

3+ years of experience with CMES application.

3+ years reading, understanding, and interpreting basic engineering drawings and specifications.

Ability to provide ship‑side support to resolve production issues.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired)

5+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

5+ years of aerospace systems and test fabrication and/or installation experience.

Shift Primarily first shift; additional shift requirements may arise to support program objectives.

Pay and Benefits Competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities. Pay ranges: Mid‑level (Level 3): $77,350–$104,650; Experienced (Level 4): $92,650–$125,350.
