Responsibilities
Evaluates and treats patients in a home setting
Communicates with families, physicians, and other health care professionals
Maintains daily, thorough documentation of services in the EMR
Has your own equipment including smart devices and blood pressure monitor
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited college or university with a Doctoral/Masters/Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy
Education and/or experience: new graduate applicants welcome; experienced therapists especially in hospice patients
Actively licensed as a Virginia Physical Therapist

PRN Therapy Overview
Flexible schedule: PRN therapists choose when they work and can accept or decline cases based on availability
Variety of settings: work in assisted living facilities and residential homes
Higher rates: while benefits such as PTO and health insurance are not provided, rates are attractive to offset the absence of benefits
No long‑term contracts: assignments can vary from a few to many patients, depending on demand
Weekend and holiday shifts: may be called for weekend or holiday work, often with premium pay rates
Skill maintenance and professional growth: exposure to diverse patient cases keeps clinicians engaged and sharpens clinical skills
Networking opportunities: interacting with various colleagues, physicians, and patients expands professional networks and can lead to future opportunities
Compensation:
up to $120/eval + 2 units
