Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients in a home setting.

Communicate with families, physicians, and other health care professionals.

Maintain daily thorough documentation of services in the EMR.

Have your own equipment, including smart devices and a blood pressure monitor.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited college or university with a Doctoral/Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.

New graduate applicants welcome; experienced therapists, especially with hospice patients.

Actively licensed as a FL Physical Therapist.

Job Type PRN (pro re nata) – Per diem basis. PRN therapists are part of an on‑call pool of therapists who work on a per diem basis. They can accept or decline cases based on availability.

Variety of settings: work in ALF and residential home settings, gaining experience across patient populations.

Higher rates: lack of benefits like PTO and health insurance, but often a more attractive wage.

Weekend and holiday shifts: may be called upon for weekends or holidays, often with premium pay rates.

Compensation: up to $100/eval + 2 units.
