Civil Construction Estimator

We are looking for a Civil Estimator to join our estimating team.
Responsibilities
Review take-offs
Contact subcontractors, suppliers, and specialty services for quotes
Work with Project Managers, Engineering, Purchasing, and Management as needed in the preparation and final evaluation of bids
Provide improvement recommendations to cost estimating procedures to reduce future discrepancies between estimated and actual costs
Qualifications
5+ years as an estimator working on Civil Construction Projects
Federal Government and/or Public Works project estimating experience required
HARD BID Estimating and Negotiated Bid Experience
Knowledge of HCSS Heavy Bid (or similar estimating software)Must be able to pass pre-employment physical/drug test/background check

8-hour shift, Monday to Friday
Salary: $90 – $130K Base (negotiable based on years of experience)
