Base pay range
$90,000.00/yr – $180,000.00/yr Responsibilities
SRE support with Development experience and Cloud engineering knowledge. Proficiency in Java, with a good understanding of its ecosystems and Service‑oriented architecture. Design and implement fault‑tolerant architectures and graceful‑degradation patterns; influence code and deployment practices to raise reliability across teams. Automate toil via scripts, pipelines, and self‑healing runbooks to reduce repetitive manual work and improve MTTR. Set and enforce reliability standards (golden paths, readiness checks, deployment criteria) for In‑Club workloads; guide teams through launch and capacity reviews. Partner on platform operations (e.g., API management, certificates, telemetry, BCDR testing) to keep services secure, compliant, and resilient. Good knowledge of Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP) Patterns and Concepts. Skill for writing reusable Java libraries. Basic understanding of MVC pattern, JDBC, and RESTful web services. Experience in working with web application frameworks. Ability to write clean, readable Java code. Drive automation, build observability dashboards, drive incident reduction and work on any critical issues during any P1/P2. Availability in off‑hours and weekend (on‑call) for support for critical production issues. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area. OR 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area. Proficiency in Java and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). Experience with SRE practices and reliability engineering. Strong problem‑solving, analytical, decision‑making, and excellent communication skills. Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year’s experience in software engineering or related area. Knowledge of accessibility best practices and WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility integration. Additional Compensation
