Senior Tax Accountant
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse range of tax compliance and advisory services for individual, corporate, partnership, trust, estate, and fiduciary clients. This role requires a deep understanding of tax regulations and the ability to provide strategic tax planning to optimize clients' tax positions.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates.
Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings and risk mitigation.
Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and advise clients accordingly.
Assist in the development and implementation of tax strategies for clients based on their unique circumstances.
Collaborate with other professionals in the firm to ensure a holistic approach to client service and tax planning.
Mentor and train junior staff members, providing guidance on tax-related matters and professional development.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting or a related field.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Tax Senior experience is required; CPA certification is a plus.
Experience with individual, corporate, partnership, trust, estate, and fiduciary tax matters is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
