Senior Tax Accountant (Fiduciary - Hybrid)

Position Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team, specializing in fiduciary tax services. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing tax compliance and planning for high‑net‑worth individuals and their trusts, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations while providing exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review fiduciary tax returns for trusts and estates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Provide tax planning advice for high net worth individuals, including estate and gift tax strategies.
Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation for tax preparation.
Conduct tax research to stay informed of changes in tax laws and implement strategies accordingly.
Assist in the preparation of partnership tax returns and associated schedules.
Utilize tax software such as Prosystem and OneSource to enhance efficiency and accuracy in tax preparation.
Support and mentor junior staff in tax preparation and compliance processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, ideally with a focus on fiduciary and trust taxation.
CPA or EA designation preferred.
Strong knowledge of estate, gift, and charitable tax regulations.
Experience with tax preparation software, preferably Prosystem and OneSource.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail.
