We are seeking an Independent Doctor of Optometry to join a LensCrafters Subleasing practice as an Associate Optometrist. The role offers professional autonomy, a full scope of practice, flexible scheduling, and access to advanced digital eye‑exam technology.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive optometric care to patients, including examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
Use digital examination tools such as Clarify® and Daytona Optomap® (when available).
Maintain accurate patient records and comply with state regulations.
Collaborate with the Subleasing Doctor to coordinate care and scheduling.
Participate in patient recall and appointment follow‑up using the automated online system.
Adopt a flexible schedule, including part‑time commitments or additional hours as needed.
Qualifications
Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program.
Active license to practice in New Jersey.
Experience in private practice or retail eye‑care preferred.
Strong communication skills and patient‑focused approach.
Ability to work independently within a subleasing model.
