Senior Business Intelligence Developer – Epic Reporting (Remote)

This technology role is responsible for importing, cleansing, transforming, validating, aggregating, and analyzing data from various sources with the purpose of creating presentations, graphics, and reports. Maintain data integrity and quality to develop analytical solutions to turn data into insights. This technology person’s expertise is in reporting tools and technologies on EPIC and/or other business intelligence tools.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Designs and implements complex reports and dashboards according to stakeholder needs and user specifications.
Transforms data into usable formats in reports using subject matter expertise on the clinical or financial domains.
Translates business needs into technical specifications.
Designs, implements, and supports data modeling and data warehousing projects.
Designs, develops, and optimizes data transformations to import and export data from operational systems, vendor applications, and data warehouses.
Advanced Report and Dashboard Development – writes complex queries, filters, and works as an administrator for the reporting platform.
Prepares design specifications and functional documentation for assigned business intelligence projects.
Manages and maintains authorization and authentication for the users of the reports and dashboards, understanding the security protocols.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience:
5 years of experience, minimum 2 years of experience in a related field.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Advanced technical computer skills as required for technical support specific to the function area and related systems.
Pay Range $94,994.00 USD – $127,849.00 USD
Pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
