Overview From strategy to execution, the Government & Public Sector practice of Ernst & Young provides consulting and audit services to Federal, State, Local, and Education clients. We help these clients implement new ideas to achieve mission outcomes, protect the nation, serve the people, increase public safety, improve healthcare for military and veterans, deliver essential public services, and assist those in need.

Key Responsibilities

Function as part of a team during technical implementations for Dynamics/Power Platform to finalize architecture specification and create designs related to customizations and/or integration of platform.

Lead system design discussions and recommend alternate choices, trade-offs, and impact analysis.

Participate in and lead white‑boarding sessions.

Assist with providing estimates on assigned tasks.

Translate new client information quickly, including data and process modeling and revision control systems.

Lead a team of developers through technical architecture.

Provide mentoring and leadership to less experienced developers.

Independently write quality code that is simple, reliable, and scalable.

Perform code reviews and ensure best practices are adhered to by the development team on engagements.

Lead solution deployments to downstream environments.

Senior Manager Responsibilities

Establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships.

Create innovative insights for clients, adapt methods and practices to fit operational and cultural needs, and contribute to thought leadership.

Anticipate and identify risks, and appropriately elevate issues.

Develop people by supervising, coaching and mentoring staff; foster a positive learning culture.

Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff.

Participate in business development initiatives.

Skills and Attributes

Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills.

Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies.

Ability to create innovative insights, adapt methods, and contribute to thought leadership.

Prior consulting experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.

Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

10‑12+ years of related work experience.

Comfortable working in‑person as needed.

Preferred

Microsoft Certifications and prior consulting experience highly preferred.

Expertise in developing written and visual communication products.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to collaborate with clients and identify engagement follow‑on opportunities.

Benefits

Comprehensive compensation and benefits package with a base salary range of $171,600 to $392,100 (nationally) and higher ranges for select markets.
