D365 Business Analyst & Project Coordinator
Overview
We are seeking a
Dynamics 365 Business Analyst
with strong
project coordination skills
to support ongoing enhancements, optimization initiatives, and cross-functional technology projects. This individual will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, and end users—translating business requirements into functional solutions while keeping projects aligned, documented, and on track.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a hybrid environment: part Business Analyst, part Project Coordinator, fully focused on driving clarity, efficiency, and results.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Functional Support
Partner with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and IT to understand business processes and translate needs into D365 F&O/BC requirements.
Develop user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and documentation.
Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to assess current-state vs. future-state processes.
Support configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement within D365.
Assist in backlog prioritization, enhancement requests, and release planning.
Provide post–go-live support, including user training and issue resolution.
Project Coordination & Delivery
Coordinate project activities, schedules, deliverables, and status reporting across cross-functional teams.
Maintain project documentation (RAID logs, meeting notes, action items, sprint artifacts).
Track milestones, dependencies, and risks; elevate blockers proactively.
Support UAT test cycles, tracking test cases, defects, triage, and signoffs.
Facilitate vendor communication, ensuring alignment between business and technical teams.
Assist with go-live readiness activities, cutover planning, and stabilization.
Cross-Functional Partnership
Serve as a liaison between business SMEs, technical teams, and leadership.
Communicate updates, insights, and impacts in a clear, business-friendly manner.
Work with leadership to prioritize initiatives based on business value and timeline.
Support change management activities, including training sessions and communications.
Qualifications
3–7+ years of experience as a
Business Analyst , preferably in
D365 F&O or D365 Business Central
environments.
Experience supporting ERP enhancements, implementations, or module-specific workstreams.
Strong understanding of business processes (Finance, Supply Chain, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Inventory, or Operations).
1–3 years of
project coordination
experience supporting IT, ERP, or technology initiatives.
Hands‑on experience with documentation: user stories, process maps, test scripts, functional requirements.
Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple workstreams with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
Preferred Skills
Experience working with external vendors or system integrators.
Exposure to workflow automation, Power Platform, or reporting tools (Power BI).
Certification is a plus (PMP, Scrum Master, Microsoft D365 Functional certifications).
Background in manufacturing, distribution, professional services, or multi‑entity environments.
