Position: Clinical Psychologist - Outpatient Program
Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (BUCASM), Department of Psychiatry at Boston Medical Center (BMC) is hiring a Clinical Psychologist to join our growing team. Our values and mission drive our excellence in patient care, education, and research. Both newly trained and experienced Psychologists are welcome to apply. Psychologists are faculty members at BUCASM.
Overview We are seeking a clinical psychologist for the Outpatient (OP) program. We value candidates with trauma‑informed practice, expertise in evidence‑based treatments (motivational interviewing, CBT, ACT, DBT), and experience with severe anxiety disorders, OCD exposure therapy, PTSD exposure therapy, and co‑occurring personality disorders. Experience across the lifespan and multicultural backgrounds, especially Spanish speakers, is prioritized.
Requirements
Clinical PhD, Counseling PhD or comparable degree. Open to candidates at all career levels.
Excellent interpersonal communication (written and verbal).
Ability to work harmoniously and effectively with colleagues, patients, and diverse populations across race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, socioeconomic status, national origin, immigrant status, religion, disability (physical, mental, emotional, developmental), veteran status, and limited English proficiency.

Compensation Boston University School of Medicine offers a competitive salary commensurate with academic training and practice experience. Salary range: $80,200 to $269,851. The final salary will be set based on qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and departmental budget.
