Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (BUCASM), Department of Psychiatry at Boston Medical Center (BMC) is hiring a Clinical Psychologist to join our growing team. Both newly trained and/or experienced Psychologists are welcome to apply. Psychologists are members of the faculty at BUCASM. Overview
We are seeking a clinical psychologist to work in the Outpatient (OP) program in the Department of Psychiatry and BMC. We are especially interested in candidates who practice from a trauma‑informed lens and have expertise in evidence‑based treatments such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy. Prior experience with severe anxiety disorders, exposure and response prevention for OCD, exposure‑based therapies for PTSD, and managing caseloads of patients with co‑occurring personality disorders—including borderline personality disorder—will be highly valued. Experience working across the lifespan and multilingual (particularly Spanish) competence are strongly encouraged. Requirements
Clinical PhD, Counseling PhD or equivalent degree. Open to psychologists at all career levels. Excellent interpersonal communication (written and verbal). Ability to work harmoniously and effectively with colleagues, patients, clients and vendors across the spectrum of diversity, including race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, socio‑economic status, national origin, religious identity, disability, veteran status, and limited English proficiency. Boston University School of Medicine offers a competitive salary commensurate with academic training and practice experience, along with generous benefits including paid vacation, sick time, parental leave, educational leave, bereavement leave, and CME expenses. Faculty members and their dependents qualify for 90% reduced tuition at Boston University. Salary range: $80,200 to $269,851. The final salary will be set based on qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and departmental budget. Apply
