Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Territory Sales Manager based in or around the Albany, NY area. The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and managing customer relationships, driving sales growth, implementing effective territory strategies, and providing exceptional customer support. This role will involve conducting client visits, 4 days on the road with choice of office day. You will be identifying customer needs, developing tailored solutions, achieving sales targets, and providing product training as needed. You will also be responsible for quoting, submitting, and managing orders.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and customers.
Proven sales experience, with a thorough understanding of sales strategies and techniques.
Customer service skills to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Experience in training and knowledge-sharing to help customers and team members understand product offerings and applications.
Experience in sales management is a plus.
Ability to work independently.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills to effectively manage territory responsibilities.
Familiarity with woodworking industry products or distribution is highly preferred.
