Victra is the largest Verizon authorized retailer in the United States. As Assistant General Manager, you will lead a store team, develop sales specialists, drive sales targets, manage financials, and create outstanding customer experiences. You’ll build an in‑store environment that showcases Verizon’s products and services and inspires customers to choose our wireless solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead the team by resolving customer issues and assisting with transactions.
Take direction from the store leader on day‑to‑day operations.
Set and share daily, weekly, and monthly goals with sales teams.
Provide coaching and mentorship to deliver excellent customer service.
Identify skill gaps and implement development plans to exceed sales metrics.
Analyze staffing needs, report financial and sales data, manage cash, and ensure compliance.
Open trouble tickets with Facilities/Network/IT for store uptime.
Monitor inventory, restock shelves, maintain device security, and keep the store clean.
Lead merchandising and planogram compliance per company standards.
Complete store opening and closing activities.
Assume collective responsibility for daily, weekly, and monthly store targets.

Qualifications
Background in customer service within retail, restaurant, or wireless industry preferred.
1–2 years of experience in a Customer Service or leadership role.
Management experience in a commissions‑based sales environment.
Proven track record of achieving challenging team and individual sales goals.
Ability to balance multiple priorities in a multifaceted environment.
Experience setting goals, evaluating performance, and building high‑performing teams.
Basic interview skills and staffing knowledge.
High school diploma or GED.
At least one year of retail or sales customer service experience.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak vacation periods.
Minimum age 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 10 pounds.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Training Requirements All Assistant General Managers must attend a 4‑day New Hire University (NHU) training program within 2 weeks of start date. program may include overnight travel at company expense. Continuous online and computer‑based training will be required throughout employment.
Compensation National average annual salary ranges from $43,000 to $67,000, comprising a base hourly rate of $20.04 + uncapped commission.
