Position Summary
We are seeking a
Tax Senior Manager
to lead complex tax engagements, strengthen client relationships, and actively contribute to the growth of our NJ and Long Island practice. This is a
partner-track leadership role , ideal for a technically strong tax professional with experience in business development, mentoring, and managing high-level client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership and review of
complex individual, partnership, and corporate tax engagements .
Deliver
strategic tax planning
and advisory services for closely held businesses and high-net-worth clients.
Develop and grow new business opportunities within the community and client base.
Mentor, train, and supervise managers, seniors, and staff to foster technical excellence and leadership readiness.
Partner with firm leadership on
regional growth initiatives, process improvements, and service expansion .
Collaborate with colleagues nationally to support multi-location clients and firm-wide initiatives.
Support advisory projects including
entity restructuring, transactions, and multi-state compliance .
Qualifications
CPA or JD license required .
8–12 years of progressive
public accounting experience
with deep expertise in taxation.
Strong client relationship management and business development experience.
Proven technical proficiency in
federal and state tax law , including multi-state compliance.
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
