Electrical Engineer – Nuclear Energy
A Next Generation Nuclear Energy Company is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design, integration, and safety of advanced reactor systems. This role involves developing electrical systems for power distribution, controls, and instrumentation, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and document electrical systems, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Ensure compliance with industry codes, safety standards, and regulations.
Collaborate with cross‑disciplinary engineering teams on system integration.
Contribute to safety assessments, risk analyses, and testing processes.
Support procurement, installation, commissioning, and maintenance procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering.
7+ years (or 5+ with M.Sc.) in electrical system design, ideally within nuclear, energy, or aerospace.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes (IEEE, NEC) and design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP).
Familiarity with control systems and instrumentation; project management experience preferred.
PE license or progress toward licensure is an advantage.
