This full-time role involves supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a community-based setting.

Responsibilities:
The
Behavioral Intervention Specialist (BIS)
will be responsible for: Developing functional behavioral assessments and support plans Providing individual and group counseling Presenting psychotropic medications to the Human Rights Committee Training staff in behavior support plan implementation Referring individuals for psychiatric and psychological care Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in BIS fieldwork Master's degree in psychology or related field BCBA certification is a plus Strong assessment and behavior support development skills Proficient in EMR systems, specifically PrecisionCare Ability to work flexible hours and travel within the metropolitan area Excellent communication and teamwork skills Organizational and time management skills Problem-solving abilities Empathy and professionalism Desired Skills: 5 years of experience with IDD individuals BCBA certification Advanced skills in psychological assessments Expertise in behavior support plan training Strong interpersonal skills For more details and to apply, please contact our recruitment team.
