Salary Range: $74,000 - $113,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
- Design, develop, and implement manufacturing tools, jigs, and fixtures.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
- Support new product introduction by defining manufacturing methods and ensuring smooth transition to production.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process specifications.
- Evaluate, select, and specify manufacturing equipment to improve production capabilities.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process optimization and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping) and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for tooling, fixture design, or plant layout.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex manufacturing problems, propose solutions, and implement process improvements.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with robotic programming and automation integration.
- Proficiency in advanced simulation software (e.g., FEA, discrete event simulation).
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
- Proven experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing scale-up.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL) for process optimization.
