Salary Range: $69,000 - $108,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and defects.
  • Evaluate, select, and justify new manufacturing equipment, tooling, and fixtures to enhance productivity.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, SOPs, and process flows.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) by ensuring manufacturability and smooth transition from design to production.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, monitor key performance indicators, and drive process enhancements.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, focusing on process optimization and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency with CAD software for designing fixtures, tooling, and production aids.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical process control (SPC) methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • Experience with advanced manufacturing simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim)
  • Proficiency in PLC programming or industrial robotics
  • Data analytics skills using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or SQL
