Salary Range: $70,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Allegan that are seeking skilled Manufacturing Engineers. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
- Design, validate, and implement manufacturing tools, fixtures, and equipment.
- Support the transition of new products from design to manufacturing, ensuring manufacturability and smooth production ramp-up.
- Investigate and resolve manufacturing issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- Select, justify, install, and qualify new manufacturing equipment and machinery.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, assembly, fabrication).
- Experience with CAD/CAM software for design and simulation.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Familiarity with data analysis and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Proficiency with advanced simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim)
- Experience with robotics programming or automation integration
- Strong data analytics skills for manufacturing process optimization
