Start Date:
This is a temporary position beginning in January 2026 through March 5th, 2026 with the potential to extend as needed.
Hourly Rate:
Starts at $21.62/hour. Additional $0.70/hour with School Nutrition Association Level 3 Certification, $0.95/hour with Level 4 Certification.
Work Week:
7 hours/day; approximately 6:00am‑1:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; 6:15am‑1:15pm on Wednesdays.
Location:
Newly renovated White Bear Lake Area High School – Grades 9‑12.
Closing Date:
December 15, 2025 – Candidates reviewed upon submission, selection starting no sooner than five days after posting.

Position Summary Prepare food and beverages for high‑volume, complex food service operations, maintaining food safety and quality. Prepare food and follow recipes across a variety of meal choices, a la carte, catering and more. Maintain sanitary conditions. Operate, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment. Follow federal, state and local guidelines for Child Nutrition Programs. See attached job description for more information.

Education and/or Experience High school diploma or GED and moderate experience in high‑volume, complex food prep operation, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Requirements Sanitation and Safety Course required within one (1) year and again every three (3) years.
