Job Details We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Medical Malpractice Attorney to join our dynamic team. This permanent position offers the opportunity to work on challenging, high‑stakes legal cases within the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in medical malpractice, insurance defense, and defense litigation, representing healthcare professionals and institutions in complex cases.
Responsibilities
Represent clients in medical malpractice lawsuits, including healthcare providers and insurance companies.
Conduct in‑depth research and analysis of medical records and related documents to develop strong defense strategies.
Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in cases of medical negligence.
Represent clients in state and federal courts, as well as before arbitration panels.
Manage cases involving automobile liability, trucking liability, and other related areas.
Provide legal advice and guidance to clients about potential legal issues and risks.
Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends in medical malpractice and related fields.
Qualifications
Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Medical Malpractice Attorney or similar.
2–5 years of insurance defense experience.
Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
Proven experience in state and federal court litigation.
Strong knowledge of medical malpractice law and related areas, including insurance defense and defense litigation.
Experience handling cases involving automobile liability, trucking liability, and medical negligence.
Excellent research, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
High ethical standards and professional integrity.
