Insurance Coverage Attorney
About the Opportunity A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney to join its growing practice. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a respected team, handle sophisticated coverage matters, and enjoy the flexibility of remote work while based in California.
Key Responsibilities
Advise insurers on coverage issues involving general liability, professional liability, construction defect, and other complex matters.
Draft coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, and denial letters.
Represent insurers in coverage litigation, including dispositive motions, discovery, mediations, and arbitrations.
Handle all aspects of case management from inception through resolution.
Collaborate with colleagues across multiple offices to provide strategic solutions for clients.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership in the California State Bar (in good standing).
3–6 years of insurance coverage experience preferred.
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Litigation experience is a plus.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple matters.
Salary and Other Compensation The annual salary for this position is between $170,000 and $250,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
