What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Directly manage and support the engineering team in delivering high-quality web-based applications
Oversee hiring processes for new team members, including developers and quality assurance engineers
Conduct one-on-one meetings with team members to assess performance and identify training needs
Participate in Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning and daily standups
Collaborate with other leaders to identify and meet business priorities related to software development
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
At least 10 years of relevant experience in software development
4-6 years of experience managing software engineering teams
Certification in Scrum/Agile methodologies
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience implementing Scrum practices and managing release activities in Azure DevOps
Master’s degree in Computer Science
2 or more years of experience as a Software/Application Architect
Familiarity with cloud-based hosting solutions, particularly Azure
Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) models and multi-tenant solutions
