Position Overview We are seeking an experienced
Distribution Manager
to lead distribution and logistics operations at our Miami facility. This role is critical in overseeing delivery operations, warehouse management, inventory control, and ensuring timely, compliant service to healthcare clients across the region. The ideal candidate will be a hands‑on leader with strong expertise in logistics, operational excellence, and people management.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all warehousing and distribution activities, including inbound and outbound logistics.
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards while maintaining daily operational efficiency.
Lead and optimize the transportation network, coordinating deliveries and pick‑ups across multiple clients.
Implement best‑in‑class inventory and loaner kit management processes.
Manage subcontractor relationships to ensure performance, safety, and cost effectiveness.
Provide financial oversight of distribution operations, supporting cost control and budgeting.
Drive continuous improvement projects (CIP) and promote green logistics initiatives.
Lead and mentor the distribution team through structured training, coaching, and performance management.
Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Quality, and Finance to ensure smooth workflows and accurate inventory planning.
Conduct and lead physical inventories, ensuring ERP system accuracy.
Recruit, onboard, and develop distribution center personnel.
Monitor KPIs, cycle counts, and logistics data to improve performance and service levels.
Ensure customer satisfaction through timely issue resolution and high service standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
8–10 years of experience in distribution, supply chain, or logistics management (preferably high‑volume service or industrial environment).
Proven leadership experience managing cross‑functional warehouse and distribution teams.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with a focus on process efficiency and cost control.
Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills.
Bilingual (English and Spanish, written and verbal) strongly preferred.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally as needed.
Experience driving a lift and managing chemical storage.
Industry experience in laundry, healthcare, or service logistics preferred.
Familiarity with sustainability practices and green logistics initiatives.
Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement certification is a plus.
Experience with fleet management tools and transportation routing software.
