Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Engineer
Location:
Pomona, CA – Hybrid (2 days in office)
Duration:

Pay Rate:
$87.50/hr on W2
Responsibilities
Perform structural and line design analysis using PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole, and PLS-Caisson, serving as the go‑to expert for modeling and analysis across transmission and distribution.
Ensure quality and safety compliance by overseeing QA/QC processes and adhering to company and site‑specific safety standards.
Review and design pole foundations, providing expert guidance on both new installations and evaluations of existing infrastructure.
Support construction activities by coordinating with field teams to resolve design‑related issues, conducting field inspections, and assisting with emergency restoration efforts due to wildfires, storms, or other incidents.
Maintain and update design specifications, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver support to internal and external stakeholders.
Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to LeadStack's transmission engineering practice, mentoring and guiding less experienced engineers.
Required Skills & Attributes
Bachelor's (or Master's) degree in civil/structural engineering
Technical experience in transmission and/or distribution line engineering design
Engineering experience with Electric Utility Distribution and Transmission Systems using California GO95, NESC and ASCE codes and guidelines
Proficiency with PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole, and AutoCAD
