Preconstruction/Estimating Consultant representing talent across North America About the Company

The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a
Senior Estimator
to play a leading role within a growing preconstruction team in Dallas. The Senior Estimator will support major commercial pursuits, mentor junior estimators, and help drive successful project outcomes from the earliest stages.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
Interpret drawings, specifications, and bid documents to build complete and competitive proposals.
Lead estimating efforts for large pursuits, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all deliverables.
Partner with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to clarify scope and pricing.
Evaluate subcontractor bids and ensure alignment with project requirements.
Support value engineering efforts and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Manage bid schedules and coordinate submissions for preconstruction deadlines.
Mentor and guide junior estimators to support their professional growth.
Requirements
8+ years of experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator in
commercial general contracting .
Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, materials, and market pricing.
Proven ability to develop accurate estimates for ground-up and interiors projects.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Proficiency with estimating software, digital takeoff tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
