Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Controls / Automation Engineer to support the design, development, programming, testing, and validation of advanced automated systems. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise with Rockwell Automation platforms, vision inspection systems, and motion control technologies, along with experience working in regulated environments that require formal qualification processes.
Key Responsibilities
Program, troubleshoot, and optimize Rockwell PLCs including ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and Studio 5000.
Design, configure, and integrate machine vision systems (Cognex, Keyence) for inspection and automation applications.
Implement, tune, and maintain Rockwell motion control solutions, including Kinetix drives and motion modules.
Develop and execute IQ/OQ/PQ qualification protocols to support equipment validation activities.
Collaborate effectively with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineering teams to support project execution.
Assist with system commissioning, FAT/SAT execution, and troubleshooting during installation and deployment.
Create detailed technical documentation such as schematics, test plans, and user manuals.
Ensure all systems comply with applicable safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Required Experience & Skills
Strong proficiency in Rockwell PLC programming (Studio 5000).
Proven experience with Cognex or Keyence machine vision systems.
Hands‑on background with Rockwell motion control (Kinetix drives, motion modules).
Solid understanding of IQ/OQ/PQ qualification processes.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and P&IDs.
Excellent problem‑solving, debugging, and troubleshooting capabilities.
Strong written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
