Controls/Automation Engineer
Summary
We are seeking an experienced Controls/Automation Engineer to design, program, and validate automated equipment. The ideal candidate has strong Rockwell Automation skills, hands‑on vision system experience, and a solid understanding of IQ/OQ/PQ processes in regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
Program, debug, and troubleshoot Rockwell PLCs (ControlLogix/CompactLogix, Studio 5000).
Integrate and configure machine vision systems (Cognex or Keyence).
Implement and tune Rockwell motion control systems (Kinetix drives).
Develop and execute IQ/OQ/PQ protocols for equipment qualification.
Support commissioning, FAT/SAT, and equipment deployment.
Prepare schematics, test plans, and technical documentation.
Partner with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in controls/automation engineering.
Strong proficiency with Rockwell PLC programming (Studio 5000).
Experience with Cognex or Keyence vision systems.
Hands‑on experience with Rockwell motion control.
Working knowledge of IQ/OQ/PQ validation processes.
Ability to read electrical schematics and P&IDs.
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
