and requires candidates to reside in the following areas: IN, MI, OH, IL, Western PA. The territory includes Upstate NY, Western PA, OH, IN, IL, MI, KY, WV.

Position Summary We are hiring a
Director of Sales (DOS), New Business
to lead a sales team in achieving the budgeted sales quota for the year and directly supervise a team of 5+ Account Development Executives. Responsibilities include: monitoring performance, achieving financial goals, developing, motivating, and counseling staff, fostering a collaborative environment, providing feedback on market conditions, planning sales strategy per quarter, and driving client retention.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and grow a high‑performing sales team.
Set and execute sales strategies to exceed quota.
Mentor and coach Account Development Executives.
Analyze market data and adjust tactics accordingly.
Collaborate cross‑functionally to align sales initiatives with company goals.
Handle customer issues and ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
4‑year college degree or equivalent experience.
Experience in the automotive industry.
Minimum 6–8 years of leading quota‑exceeding outside B2B sales hunters, selling complex systems (DMS, SaaS, etc.).
Demonstrated track record of success in a solutions‑selling environment.
7–9 months of job‑related formal sales training.
1–3 years of outside B2B sales including new business development.
Job Requirements
Excellent planning, project management, analytical and facilitation skills.
Strong ability to lead and work within a multi‑functional team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to senior audiences.
Ability to make meaningful recommendations to senior management regarding the strategic direction of sales.
Superior analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technology applications.
Excellent work ethic; self‑starter capable of working independently and collaboratively.
Knowledge of automotive technology and digital solutions preferred.
Ability to travel approximately 75%.
Consistent achievement of 100%+ quota each year.
Compensation Salary (Average) $155,000 + Uncapped Bonus/Commissions
