Project Manager - K-12, Municipality - NoVa

The Project Manager - K-12, Municipality - NoVa will be responsible for: Leading and maintaining overall project schedules to ensure timely completion Preparing and submitting payment requisitions in coordination with stakeholders Reviewing, managing, and enforcing contract terms and obligations Managing change orders, RFIs, and potential change orders (PCOs) to minimize delays and cost impacts Overseeing and controlling project budgets, ensuring financial accountability Managing submittal and shop drawing processes for timely approvals Ensuring contractor compliance with scope, quality standards, and project requirements Facilitating and leading regular progress meetings with internal teams and external partners Conducting consistent on-site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues proactively Overseeing project closeout to ensure all deliverables and documentation are completed accurately and on time MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Project Manager - K-12, Municipality - NoVa will have: Minimum of 5 years' experience in a construction project management role Proven track record managing projects valued at $20M+ Experience with municipal, K-12, or public sector construction projects strongly preferred Deep understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and safety protocols Demonstrated leadership in managing field staff, subcontractors, and consultants Strong coordination skills across clients, design teams, and internal departments Excellent communication, decision-making, and conflict resolution abilities Proficiency in reading construction documents, plans, and technical specifications Knowledge of project documentation, permitting, and regulatory compliance Ability to manage competing deadlines and shifting project demands Valid driver's license and willingness to make regular site visits as needed The Project Manager - K-12, Municipality - NoVa will receive: 20 days of paid time off annually Comprehensive health insurance coverage 401(k) plan with company match Reimbursement for parking expenses Company-provided phone or phone stipend Competitive compensation package Contact: Jessica Grocer Job Reference: JN-062025-6759019
