POSITION OVERVIEW We’re seeking a strategic and hands‑on finance leader to drive the next phase of company growth and operational excellence. This executive will be responsible for elevating the finance function beyond traditional accounting to become a true strategic partner to the business. Working closely with physicians, private equity sponsors, and the executive team, this leader will architect the financial infrastructure needed to support rapid expansion while optimizing existing operations. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Modernize Finance Operations:
Transform the finance function through implementation of cutting‑edge technologies, AI tools, and offshore capabilities while maintaining oversight of core accounting functions.
Develop Team Excellence:
Build and mentor a high‑performing finance team while establishing scalable processes and controls.
Build Financial Models:
Support strategic decisions with robust financial modeling and data‑backed recommendations.
Standardize Reporting:
Create reporting tools that effectively communicate key metrics to internal and external stakeholders, including private equity partners.
Enhance Clinical Performance:
Partner with physicians to optimize case performance and drive center‑level profitability.
Manage Key Relationships:
Foster and maintain strategic relationships with banking partners, investors, and other external stakeholders.
Enhance Efficiency:
Lead process improvement initiatives that streamline operations and boost financial outcomes.
Drive Strategic Growth:
Lead strategic planning and capital allocation decisions to support both organic growth and M&A initiatives through methodical plan development and financial collaboration with corporate colleagues and private equity sponsors.
Lead Audit Processes:
Oversee all external and internal audit activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements that meet GAAP requirements and healthcare‑specific accounting standards.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, MBA and/or CPA preferred.
10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in multi‑site healthcare operations, with specific ASC or specialty practice management exposure strongly preferred.
Track record of modernizing finance functions through technology implementation and process improvement.
Strong physician relationship management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
Experience in private equity‑backed healthcare businesses with demonstrated success in high‑growth environments.
