Position Summary

The Vice President of Physician Marketing, reporting to the

Chief Marketing Officer , is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies to attract new physicians into the MDVIP model. This role leads physician acquisition campaigns, manages cross-functional execution, and uses data-driven insights to optimize lead generation, conversion, and event performance. The leader collaborates across Marketing, Sales, and Physician Development teams to drive business growth and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and lead marketing strategies to generate and nurture a high-quality pipeline of physician prospects aligned with growth goals.

Oversee campaign planning and execution across digital, field marketing, and event channels to ensure message consistency and performance.

Lead and mentor a team of physician marketing professionals to foster innovation, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.

Build a results-oriented culture focused on performance, agility, and continuous improvement.

Analyze market dynamics, physician behavior, and regional trends to inform targeting and segmentation strategies.

Leverage insights to refine messaging, identify high-potential markets, and improve lead quality.

Manage marketing budgets to optimize return on investment and resource allocation across all physician acquisition activities.

Track performance against forecasts and adjust plans as needed to meet business objectives.

Partner with Physician Development, Sales, and Brand teams to ensure alignment and seamless lead management.

Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to enhance program impact.

Establish KPIs and dashboards to measure lead volume, conversion rates, campaign ROI, and event success.

Provide insights and recommendations to executive leadership based on data analysis and market trends.

Key Competencies

Successful experience leading high-performing marketing teams and delivering growth through integrated campaigns.

Deep understanding of the physician decision-making process and healthcare industry.

Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), marketing automation, and analytics tools.

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

10+ years of progressive marketing experience.

At least 5 years focused on channel-specific marketing growth.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree preferred.

Experience in healthcare marketing, concierge medicine, or physician/provider acquisition.

Knowledge of healthcare compliance and regulatory considerations in marketing.

Proficiency in campaign attribution modeling and event performance measurement.
