Labor & Employment Litigation Associate (Chicago)
Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP is seeking a 2–3 year Labor & Employment or Litigation Associate Attorney to join our Chicago office. This firm is a global Am Law 100 full‑service law firm with over 1,000 attorneys across 16 offices worldwide. The Chicago office has nearly 70 attorneys who practice in a variety of areas.
We are recruiting for an outstanding associate with 2–3 years of employment, commercial and/or other complex litigation experience, preferably with additional experience with trade secret and restrictive covenant matters, and other complex disputes and litigations.

Ability to prioritize and multi‑task various assignments and deadlines

Opportunities to draft pleadings and briefs, participate in expedited restrictive covenant and trade secret proceedings, support the labor and employment aspects of M&A transactions, communicate with clients, interview witnesses, and draft investigation reports are all available within our diverse and deep team.

Candidates must have a strong academic background, high grades, a strong work ethic, and be admitted to and a member in good standing of the Illinois Bar. Federal clerkship experience is a plus.
